This guide explains how to add manual transactions on Kryptos.

Navigating to Transactions

Access the transactions page from the left-hand menu. This page shows all transactions from your integrated wallets and exchanges.

Adding a New Transaction

  1. From the main menu, head on to the Wallets/Exchanges page.

  2. On the top, select "Add Manual Transactions"

  3. Click "+ Add transactions".

  4. Choose the transaction date and type (e.g., deposit).

  5. Select your wallet (e.g., Binance) and the coin (e.g., BTC).

  6. Enter the transaction quantity. Optional: Add a fee and a description.

  7. Click "Add a transaction". A manual label will indicate it's a manual transaction. Kryptos will calculate the cost bases automatically.

Importance of Manual Transactions

Manual transactions are essential for peer-to-peer trades not recorded by an exchange and useful for personal record-keeping and tax filing.

Example of a Trade Transaction

  1. Select "trade" as the transaction type.

  2. Enter the asset sent and asset received. Choose the wallet and coins (e.g., selling BTC for USDT).

  3. Add the values and any fees. Provide a description.

  4. Click "Add transaction". The trade details and a manual tag will be displayed.

Viewing Manual Transactions

Use the "show only manual transactions" icon to filter and view only manual transactions.
