1. Missing Purchase History
Understanding Missing Purchase History: Missing Purchase History means that the ledger entries missed some transaction, deposit, or withdrawal, which can lead to errors in calculations or negative balances. This often happens due to incomplete transactions, partial syncs, or missing functions from the exchange.
Example Scenario: Binance API integration doesn't support Referral Rebates. Users with deposit entries for referral rebates must manually enter the values to rectify ledger calculations.
Steps to Debug Missing Purchase History:
Identify the Transaction:
Go to the transaction with Missing Purchase History.
Hover over the warning sign and click on "View Ledger."
Review Ledger Entries:
In the ledger view, identify the exact missing values for the crypto.
Add Manual Transactions:
Click on "Add Manual Transaction."
Manually add the missing transactions.
Follow the separate guide for adding manual transactions.
2. Missing Pricing
Understanding Missing Pricing: Missing Pricing means that the pricing for a crypto asset isn't provided by Coinmarketcap or Coingecko. This is a rare occurrence and requires manual input of the asset's value based on the cost basis for accurate portfolio tracking.
Example Scenario: Integrating a blockchain wallet that has memecoins that aren't listed on Coinmarketcap or Coingecko.
Steps to Debug Missing Pricing:
Identify the Transaction:
Go to the transaction with missing pricing.
Hover over the warning sign and click on "Add Now."
Input Market Price:
On the next screen, input the market price for the asset.
Sync Calculations:
Kryptos will automatically re-sync all calculations and the cost basis for the asset.
By following these steps, you can efficiently debug missing purchase histories and pricing to ensure accurate transaction history and portfolio tracking.
